Mac, played by Dolphy, and Arthur, played by Vic Sotto. Mac moonlights as a chef and chief security for a resort owned by his best friend. He doesn’t have to work but his marital problems with his wife–portrayed by Carmi Martin– prompts him to seek refuge in his best friend’s resort to think things over.

In the meantime, his best friend was almost held up if not for Arthur’s heroic actions, saving him from the scalawags. Learning that he was jobless, Arthur was offered a job at his resort. Later he would find out he had been hired as an assistant security guard and Mac was his boss.

DOBOL TROBOL is a hilarious comedy. As both hit the bumpy road of their misadventures, the side-splitting companionship they’ve found might be what matters the most.
